Seeing Inside Breast Cancer Technology
MIT Radar ~ In a study done with the heat therapy from the MIT radar, large tumors treated with chemotherapy and focused microwave heat treatment the tumors shrunk 50 percent more than tumors treated with only chemotherapy. "It appears that heating the tumors drastically increased the effectiveness of the chemotherapy," said Dr. William C. Dooley, director of surgical oncology at the University of Oklahoma and the principal investigator of the study. "The tumors shrank faster and died faster using the additional microwave hypothermia on top of the chemotherapy."
SRS Technology ~ Stereotactic radio-surgery (SRS) is a highly sophisticated radiation that gives the patient high, lethal doses of radiation to the tumors in the spine. It keeps vital tissues and the spinal cord intact, though. SRS has been proven to be highly effective in providing patients with both pain relief as well as local tumor control.
3D Mammography ~ One study with 3D mammography resulted in a 40 percent increase in the detection of invasive breast cancers and a 15 percent decrease in false-positives. The 3D images make it possible for a radiologist to examine the cancer layer by layer, instead of looking at a flat image. The 3D mammography was approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2011.
Fun Facts!!!
~ Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.
~ Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting out milk and substituting with unsweetened soy milk, cancer cells are being starved.
~ Drink plenty of still water. Carbonated water makes the body acidic and everything else besides weak herbal teas dehydrate the body.
~ Every person has cancer cells in their body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion times.
