During World War 2 was a tragic time in history because millions of Jews were killed by Adolf Hitler and the Nazis. The Holocaust was a mass murder of 6 million Jews. The Nazis believed Germans were "racially superior" and that the Jews deemed "inferior." Germans and their collaborators killed nearly 2 out of 3 European Jews as part of the "Final solution." The Holocaust devastated most European Jewish communities and eliminated hundreds of Jewish communities in occupied eastern European entirely.
- Two hundred thousand Gypsies were also included in the mass murder. The Nazis believed that Germans were prefect and the Jews were all awful. They got most of the Jews by giving them a letter to arrive at a place at a certain date. At least 200,000 mentally and physical disabled patients mainly Germans living in institutional settings were murdered. Two out of three European Jews were killed as part as the final solution. the final solution was the Nazis policy to murder the Jews. To monitor the Jewish population the Germans created Ghettos for Jews during the war years
