Pirate Points from Mrs. Lee's Class
Back to School
Meet Mrs. Lee
I am so thrilled that your child will be part of my classroom family this year. This will be my 16th year teaching (gasp, I'm getting old!) and I love it as much as when I was a newbie! I am originally from Irmo, SC but came to Rock Hill to attend Winthrop and never left. My husband and I have two kiddos that keep us busy. Connor will be starting middle school at Dutchman Creek this year and Caroline will be in 4th grade at India Hook. Don't be surprised if your child comes home sharing stories and antics of Connor and Caroline! I've included some family pictures from our trip to the Pacific Northwest this summer so you will know who to look for at the Meet & Greet. I look forward to meeting each of you and working together to make this year successful for your child.

Pirate Meet & Greet August 19th 5:00-6:30pm
I look forward to seeing you at Pirate Meet & Greet. If you have your school supplies, you may bring them at this time to lighten the load on the first day of school. If you are unable to make this date/time, email me and we can arrange another time for you to stop by on Monday or Tuesday.
School Supplies
Below is the list of supplies for our classroom this year. We could always use more crayons and glue sticks, so if you want to buy a few extra while they are on sale, we will gladly accept them! I will have Sharpies out at Pirate Meet & Greet so you can label the supplies.
Two boxes of Crayola crayons (24 ct.)
Box of Crayola markers (8-10 ct.)
Glue sticks (1 pack - 6 ct.)
Pencils #2 (enough for year)
Marble composition notebooks (3)
Pencil pouch with zipper
Plastic pocket folder w/brads (2)
Pencil top erasers (1 pack)
3-ring binder (1 inch)
One pack of plain white paper
Keep in Touch
Email is the best way to keep in touch. I can usually check and respond to emails within the school day. My goal is to step into the Twitter world before school begins, so when I get up and running, I'll be sure to let you know my Twitter name so you can follow. I will send a weekly email in this format by Thursday of each week. Be sure you read for information on what's happening in the class and to keep up-to-date on dates for upcoming activities and events.
