During one of this occasions she began writing the world wide know Harry Potter series. During the next five years she established the plots and began to work on the first novel. Not long after this Joanne moved to portugal where she married in october 1992 and gave birth to a daughter in 1993. After getting divorced Joanne went back to the UK where she finished writing “Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone”, however the problem was that publishing her book would be complicated. Joanne went to many editorials but no one supported her book. Because of the need of money to support herself and her daughter the book had to be published, therefore she persevered and sold her book to an editorial. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, A Job for a Job
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was a man known for writing the world know Sherlock Holmes series. He was destined as an author even when it looked when his path had changed.
Born on May 22, 1859 in a middle class family he had an alcoholic father and a well educated mother that enjoyed reading for Arthur and herself. Her mother transmitted her love for literature which is one reason why he later found literature interesting. At the age of five Arthur moved away from his parents london to get better education. In his new school there were people who bullied him and harsh punishments, however he found that he had great storytelling skills. Because of this he not only created an audience of younger students he also began to really learn how to tell stories. Years later he joined college to pursue a medical career, in this college he met Dr. Joseph Bell which beside becoming his mentor as a result of his keen observation abilities became the inspiration for the character of Sherlock Holmes. After college he found a medical job in which he worked as a doctor aboard a ship that traveled from liverpool to Africa. As time went by his passion for literature grew larger until he began writing. Failing to maintain his medical career he gave up and focused all his energies as a writer. In 1886 Arthur began to write the series of Sherlock Holmes.
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle did not had an easy life, however in the end things turned right to him. The things that had nothing to do with writing were the ones that impacted the most his stories. It were these events that inspired him to become an author and as a result he triumphed as a writer.
