On Francophone Countries
Unit of Measure!
Francophone countries, as well as many others, use the metric system. These countries measure temperature in degrees centigrade or Celsius, instead of Fahrenheit.
Celsius vs Fahrenheit
The freezing point of water is 0°C vs 32°F. The boiling point water is 100°C vs 212°F.
Comfortable Temperature
A comfortable temperature is 25°C (77°F). This temperature would probably be in fall!
Hot temperatures
It would be very hot if the temperature were more than 35°C (95°F). obviously.. This temperature would occur in summer, just not here in Asheville!
Converting Temperatures from Celsius to Fahrenheit
The conversion is °C x 9/5 + 32 = °F.
So if the temperature was 15°C, it would be; 15°C x 9/5 = 27
27 + 32 = 59°F
If it was 59°F, it would probably be sometime in September!
