Conference Sign Up

Last week you should have received a conference sign up request from the school via email. Here is a copy of the email with the link.

Elementary Parents: It is time to register for Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences. Use this link to access the registration site:

Once connected to the site, you will be able to select conference times that work for your schedule. Please request a time for each of your students in the elementary. Register early for the best availability. If you have limited internet access or you are having trouble with the link, please send a note to your child's teacher indicating which days/times would work best for you.

Conferences dates and times:
Thursday, November 12, 4-8 pm
Thursday, November 19, 4-8 pm
Friday, November 20, 8-11:30 am

Pick your conference(s), then register name and contact info. This creates a registration for each conference and sends you a confirmation email with a link to choose appointment times. On that same page, you will be able to add and change both registrations and appointments.

Literacy - We continue to work on identifying and evaluating character traits. This week we have started working on recognizing the theme in fiction texts. The students have been asked to read picture books over the past few weeks, in preparation for writing book reviews. They have selected a book to focus on for the writing project. We have started working through the writing process, with the goals of writing a "catchy" opening, introduction, summary, opinion that will encourage others to read the book, and conclusion. Look for our published pieces at conferences.
Social Studies - We are learning about citizenship, democracy, and voting this month in social studies.
