How Do You Use Your Frindle?
Sandhills Elementary. One Book. One School.
What is a Frindle?
During the month of April, our entire school will be reading Frindle, the award-winning novel by beloved children's author Andrew Clements. Frindle is the story of Nick Allen, a fifth grader who wonders, "What if I could invent a brand new word?" Nick unexpectedly turns a class assignment about the dictionary into a school-wide movement, and soon the entire school is calling a pen a "frindle"! This book is a wonderful tale of creativity, teamwork, and imagination.
