Faculty Focus

I wanted you to know that I continue finding myself telling others about the amazing staff at Banks Trail. Over the last eight months I have been blessed to see each of you work with kids, parents, and each other. I have watched as you work with students to help them find ways to be successful. Your work with each other during AdvancEd showed how we can take a huge task and make it bearable.

Each of you has an amazing talent and I continue to be blown away when I walk into classrooms and see how you reach students. Please keep up the great job you are doing each and every day.

Congratulations to Trish for being selected as one of the five finalist fr the FMSD Teacher of the Year. We know you will be awesome when they come see you teach!

Thanks to Harry for helping make sure technology was set up for sound system training.

SLO Update

It is about time to start having final conferences with each of you on your SLO. The official deadline to have all information into Teacher Teams is April 27. If you have all of your pre-test,post test, and performance assessments entered, go ahead and let the administrator in charge of your SLO know so they can go ahead and review and schedule a conference with you. If we begin to work on these as you complete them, we won't be waiting around on the last day of school to have a conference.

Summer Activities

Summer School - Will be hosted by BTMS - more information to follow. We will need some teachers who would like to work summer school so be thinking about your availability.

This Week's Technology Link

I have debated whenever I should share so videos that make me laugh out loud over our jobs as educators. I decided that after eight months you know who I am and that I am serious when we need to be, but fun is good also. Since I have numbers on the bumper of my car, I thought this video was very funny. Take a look and see what you think - warning, you may actually laugh out loud :)
