T.C: I have several favorite memories from high school. Some of them are making it to state competition in the Nursery Landscape team, receiving 1's at UIL for band, becoming Drum Major, and getting to make theater department costumes for plays.
Express: Where are you going to college?
T.C: Although I have not been accepted yet, I plan on attending college at Tarleton.
Express: What attracted you to that particular college?
T.C: I know the campus well from attending several FFA events there, and it will cost less than starting at Baylor.
Express: What do you plan on majoring in?
T.C: I plan on majoring in Anesthesiology. However, I have to go through basic pre-med and medical school classes before I can choose that as a major.
Express: Are you living on campus?
T.C: If there is anyway for me not to live on campus, I would take that option. However, it being my first year to attend, I will be required to live on campus.
Express: Are you going part-time or full-time?
T.C: I will be going full-time because I am looking at another 12 years of school, and I don't want to make it last longer.
Express: Are you going to pledge a sorority?
T.C: More than likely I won't pledge a sorority because it will take my focus off my studies.

T.C: At this point in time I am unaware if I have received any scholarships?
Express: Are you requesting any scholarships?
T.C: Yes I am because medical school is expensive.
Express: How are you financing college? Government loans; private loans?
T.C: It will probably be a little bit of both because I'm going to need all the money I can get.
Express: Do you have any favorite memories from band?
T.C: Oh definitely! I have plenty of those to share from my five years in band. My favorite memory is when Drew Boggs forgot his shorts and had to wear girl shorts. A few others are listening to the past seniors roast the band directors at the band banquet, receiving all straight one's at the band contest, being a part of the winter guard the first year, and having to create the drum major salute with Kally Atchison this year.
Quarterback Interviews
Express: What is the most challenging thing about being quarterback?
L.H: Probably the most challenging thing about being a quarterback would be learning the offense and gaining your teammates' trust.
Express: How do you prepare for a specific opponent?
L.H: We watch film, and our coaches are already prepared for our next game, so we make needed adjustments. The focus is way more intense, though, when we play a game where it’s win or go home.
Express: What has been your favorite game so far?
L.H: The Boyd game
Express: Why?
L.H: Because we won by 49, and it felt good to be apart of that.
Express: Have you always wanted to be quarterback?
L.H: I did growing up because that’s the position my dad played, and over the years I’ve learned that the position is a good fit for me.
Express: When did you start playing football?
L.H: I started playing football in 4th grade. Haven’t missed a year since.
Express: Do you like playing running back or quarterback better?
Express: What is the most challenging thing about being quarterback?
Express: How do you prepare for a specific opponent?
Kevin: We prepare during practice mentally, physically, and we watch film and adjust our game to fit our opponent.
Express: What was your favorite game?
Kevin: My favorite game was homecoming against Herschi because that was my first start. We played a good game, and I learned a lot about how to play my position.
Express: Have you always wanted to be quarterback?
Kevin: I've always, actually, wanted to be a running back. In my 7th grade year, the coaches moved me to quarterback, but I got hurt, so they moved me in 8th grade to running. In high school my freshman year, the coaches moved be back again to quarterback, which I really like.
Express: How long have you been playing football?
Kevin: I began playing when I was just a little kid, playing football with friends and then in private leagues.
Express: Any final thoughts?
Kevin: We had a good season, but we need to get back to work so that we can be even more competitive. I'd like to go much deeper into the playoffs next year. We've got some good athletes coming up, and I'm excited about that.

Phase 2: Study Area -- We will also paint, clean carpet, remove Mrs. Hands circulation desk, and install a new projector. That process happens during the spring semester.
Phase 3: Mrs. Hands House -- We will clean up the area, paint, and install Mrs. Hand's new chic, modern circulation and check-out desk, and that will now be in the center of the library. Phase 3 also happens during the springtime.
