Swedish Diplomat, Activist, Humanitarian, Architect, and Business man.
Born on August 4, 1912 Lidingo Municipality, Sweden.
Raoul saved thousands of Hungarian Jews during World War II by sheltering them in "protected houses" flying the flags of Sweden and other neutral countries.
He issued passports for Jews that survived the Holocaust, providing shelter for them.
Raoul died July 17, 1947 while imprisoned with communist authorities and KGB secret police.
Working with other people like him to help in the war efforts to shelter fleeing refugees.
