Mission Maximize!

LVJHS Weekly Bulletin 2/12/2016

Dear LVJHS Family,

Our staff is the best, and I appreciate each and everyone that works on campus. LVJHS Staff lives our district motto: "We are committed to knowing every student by name and need." This time of year is busy, exciting, and full of opportunities. We set some big goals as a staff, at the start of this school year; this is the time we must narrow our focus and pull out all the stops to make our goals reality. The success of students drives everything we do, and we achieve and succeed with accomplishments of our students. Let me know how I can serve you as you serve our students in this crucial time.

Thank you all for making LVJHS a great place for students!

Fundamental Five Focus...

Critical writing can be a great way to increase the rigor and relevance for students and the material that you are teaching. Students that see the connection between the information taught and their own experiences or familiarities will make it “sticky” and help with comprehension. Critical writing increases the effectiveness of our instruction and helps to solidify the connections for the students.
