Learning and Earning Program
Become a better student
Mission Statement
Make available to Clark County School District 11th and 12th graders, who are in jeopardy of not graduating with their peers, the opportunity to improve their academic status by engaging in counseling, study time, mentoring, and employ-ability skills training, while earning wages through employment.
How it works
CSN's Learning and Earning Program is a direct intervention, dropout prevention program spearheaded by CSN. Targeted to at-risk high school juniors and seniors, it offers employment, mentoring and educational incentives to help students stay in school and graduate. Allied with us in this effort to reduce the Clark County dropout rate are the Clark County School District, workforceCONNECTIONS, MGM Resorts Foundation, Nevada Department of Employment, Training, and Rehabilitation, and local businesses.
