Vet Tech Institue of Houston

Admission

To get into the Institute of Houston you must have a high-school diploma and the recommended plan. The more credits you have the more like chance you are to get in. The ACT/SAT scores are helpful, but they are not required. When you go for a tour, the school give you a 30 question, 8 minute test. The school relays that most students don't pass their first time.

For an application, there is a $50 application fee. Academic Costs

For an annual cost for one year of tuition is $6,760.

The annual cost for one year of fees is $1,558.

The annual cost for only books and supplies alone is $1,148.

Housing

The Houston Vet Tech Institute does not having dorms or housing. But if you call Karen Reicher, at (713)-826-6527, she will help you find an apartment or house near the school for your convenience.

There isn't a scholarship office to contact, you just contact your student advisor from the institute.

The Houston Vet Tech institute has a full kennel, clinical pathology labs, radiology labs, prep rooms, surgery rooms, and large animal facility. All of these are on site facilities!
