Sand Dunes.
taken July 6th, 2013.
How can I tell? I can tell these are sand dunes by how the sand is built up into piles which are formed by wind.
The Jockey ridge sand dune is the tallest active sand dune system in the eastern US and the most striking of the remaining dunes on the outer banks.

Landslide
December 2nd, 2014
How can I tell? I can tell that this is a landslide because the ground is starting to disappear. Landslides often accompany earthquakes, floods, storm surges, hurricanes, wildfires, or volcanic activity. They are often more damaging and deadly than the triggering event.

Youthful stream/river. December 2 , 2014
How can I tell? I can tell this is a youthful stream because water is rushing very fast.
A youthful river has a steep gradient that has very few tributaries and flows quickly. It channels erode deeper rather than wider

Mature stream/river. December 2, 2014
How can I tell? I can tell this is a mature stream because its moving slower then the youthful.
This stream has a gradient that is less steep than those of youthful rivers/streams and flows more slowly. A mature river has more discharge than a youthful river. Its channels erode wider rather than deeper.
Highland Mills
Cave. December 2,2014
How can I tell? I can tell this is a cave by its has a natural underground space large enough for a human to enter. Caves form naturally by the weathering of rock and often extend deep underground.
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Beaches/waves.
August 5th, 2014
How can I tell? I can tell this is beach/waves because there's sand and waves in the background. Beaches are landforms located along the shoreline of water body's such as an ocean, sea, lake or river. They are made up of loose rock particles of materials such as sand, gravel, pebbles or cobble stones and sometimes shells.
Fen-wick Island , Delaware.
Meander. May 2014
How can I tell? I can tell this is a meander by the winding curve of the river. Meandering rivers erode sediment from the outer curve of each meander bend and deposit it on an inner curve further down the stream. This causes individual meandering.
Highland Falls
Glacial Erratic. November 30, 2014 11:20am
How can I tell? I can tell this is a glacial erratic because a rock this big cannot be easily transported to the top of a hill without being once moved up there by a glacier. Which is how this boulder got to its current position.
Route 218 Cornwall/ Highland Falls
V-shaped valley. October 18,2014 1:30pm
How can I tell? I can tell this is a v-shaped valley by the way the valley walls dip down into the main channel. I also know this because rives erode land to create v-shaped valleys which is what is happening here in the Hudson river valley.

Rocky Shoreline. December 2,2014
How can I tell? I can tell this is a rocky shoreline because the rocks border the edge or the stream which were transported to there positions from when the stream deposited them there or where blown and deposited there by wind.
