Book Character Day: October 31st, 2023
It's the end of October!
What is Book Character Day you ask? Well, each year Endeavor Elementary Students, in Prek - 2nd Grade, have the opportunity to come to school dressed up as their Favorite Book Character!
The rules and expectations are pretty simple.
On October 31st, students in grades Prek - 2nd grade can come to school dressed up as their favorite book character, and must be accompanied by the book that inspired the character they are dressed as.
To help support our elementary students, we have a Book Character Day Parade throughout the entire school where all of our classes take a few minutes out of class to cheer on the elementary students and their book characters as they walk the Endeavor hallways in the Book Character Parade.
Elementary Leader In Action!
A Note of Appreciation for one of our Students
Last year, I had the privilege of watching one of my second grade students, Fatima Mbaye, display incredible honesty, fairness , and leadership. Fatima took on the opportunity to keep track of students picking up trash at recess. Despite this being a demanding job, she took it in stride and even came up with a way to keep a daily record keeping system in her notebook. This job most likely came with a lot of peer pressure, as the reward for trash pick up was lollipops, but Fatima was steadfast in her honesty and fairness.
Fatima is such a great example of our school's core values; honest, able, wise, kind, and successful.
I am incredibly proud of Fatima and the person she is becoming, and I know she will continue to be an outstanding leader in years to come.
Sincerely,
Alyson Summers

Parent Teacher Organization Volunteer Sign-Up
Good afternoon Endeavor Families,
If you are ready to volunteer on the Endeavor Campus, then please fill out the following form so we can help organize our parent volunteers to lend a helping hand at the Harmony School of Endeavor - Austin.
In a school our size there is always someone needing help or something needed to be done.
That is where our PTO Volunteers come in to help.
After filling out this form, a PTO representative will contact you so that we can start the process of making you a volunteer on our campus.
First, Mr. Mutt will need to train all of our Volunteers regarding our emergency procedures so that if an emergency happens on campus you will know what to do.
Once you have been trained by Mr. Mutt, you can start the EZ Volunteer Sign-Up process, which is a website that we will provide to you following your training by Mr. Mutt.
Through EZ Volunteer, we will be able to post opportunities for PTO Volunteers to sign up for our volunteer activities.
Once the EZ Volunteer sign-up is completed you will be ready to start volunteering on whatever activities you would like that are listed within EZ Volunteer.
We look forward to working with you all throughout the school year as we continue to work for the betterment of our school community.
Message from Mr. Mutt Regarding Parent Volunteers
To all our parents,
We are so lucky to have your kiddos this year at our Campus. It is a joy working with all of them. As you may know our Endeavor Campus serves a community of students from Pre Kinder to 12th Grade (seniors), and this comes with many challenges.
We have been working hard to keep our school safe, and need more hands to help over this matter. Currently Endeavor Campus has two (2) Cafeterias that serve lunch to our students from 10:10 am to 1:30pm every day, and we are currently looking for twelve (12) parents to volunteer in this area.
We are also in need of four (4) to five (5) parents that can help during the dismissal time 3:10 to 3:45 pm on a daily basis.
Understanding that everyone has their own responsibilities, and agendas…we will like for this volunteer to do it at their off time, meaning that it does not have to be a daily commitment.
Please reach out to our PTO parents for other areas where you can help our school community.
Thanks in advance…
Mr. Mutt

Drop-Off & Dismissal Notification
Dear Hawk Families,
Now that the school year is in full effect, please keep in mind the following:
1) It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that when leaving through the back of the school that ALL VEHICLES TURN RIGHT ON LAKE CREEK. This is a safety concern for parents, students, and all passers-by. Turning left on to Lake Creek is very difficult during dismissal hours. It slows down the traffic flow in the school, and it can be dangerous given the volume of traffic on Lake Creek at that time. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALL VEHICLES exiting our campus to turn right and turn around at the Walmart parking lot, or turn left onto 620 and turn south on 183 if you need to head south. Those two options are safer for you while driving, and will help the school greatly.
