Weekly Update
10/23/20
Halloween
Families,
I just wanted to remind families of some key points and safety procedures for Friday's parade. Please contact me if you have any questions.
1. Please send costumes to school that your child can put on independently or slide over clothing.
2. Costumes must be school appropriate. No gore, blood, hair paint, face paint, or weapons.
3. The parade will begin at 2:20. (see map below)
4. If it is raining or the weather is below 20 degrees, the parade will be cancelled.
5. I have attached a map outlining the parade route. Please follow these safety guidelines:
*2 adults per family
*All parade spectators must wear masks
*Please stay socially distanced from other families --and there will be a 6 ft. barrier away from the parade route for the safety of staff and students
6. If you do not wish for your student to participate, please let me know through an email before October 30th.
**One CHANGE from the previous communication is that we will dismiss at 3:06 from your child's normal exit and entry door.

Counselor Corner
The holiday and winter seasons are fast approaching, and Womenade of Elkhorn is sponsoring the Celebration of Giving Project for Elkhorn Public School District families. This program provides holiday gifts for families with children birth-18 who have limited financial abilities and would like assistance in providing gifts for their children.
In order to participate in this project, we ask that you completely fill out the attached paperwork and return it to school before November 5, 2020. It may be returned in person, by mail or electronically. Unfortunately if the paperwork is not returned by the deadline, Womenade will not have time to process your requests. If you are not interested in the program for your family, do not return the forms.
Further information about pick up dates and locations will be shared at a later time. If you have any questions, please contact me using the information below.
