Big picture

Dear Families,

As we head into a three-day weekend, I ask that all of us work together to keep our students, staff, and families healthy. Please follow our county guidelines and travel recommendations. I hope we can all enjoy some time off to rest, have quality family time and come back ready to teach and learn next week!

Garden Revival

A few former Meadow Heights students have taken on a project to revive our small garden on the upper playground. They will be working with some students after school from our Annex program. Stay tuned for more information about this exciting project.

School Site Council

The school Site Council is an elected or selected group of representatives of the school's staff and parents. This team will review, give feedback and provide recommendations on the Single Plan for Student Achievement for the school. They will ensure goals and improvement strategies are measurable based on data. We currently have two parents who are interested in Site Council and are in need of one more parent.

Responsibilities of a SSC Member

1. Able to focus on the well-being of all the students at Meadow Heights

2. Able to work as a team with other council members through joint decision-making

3. Able to attend regularly scheduled meetings

4. Commitment to being an active participant and an ability/willingness to represent the total parent community.

5. Site Council positions are a two-year term

Virtual Meetings: 3:00-4:00 (9/27, 11/29, 1/24, 3/21, 5/23)
