NBHS ALL IN...LEADING LIFELONG LEARNERS
Weekly Update
Parents and Guardians,
As we are winding down the year, I wanted to once again say, "Thank You" for an amazing six years at NBHS. I look forwarding to following all the accomplishments this district continues to be a part of. I will be here through the month of June as we transition over to the new principal. Great things are on the horizon for NBHS! I'm excited to continue to stay in touch to hear all the wonderful things going on about what's best for student achievement.
The summer school will run from May 29th-June 18th from 7:30 p.m.-11:30 p.m. If you have received a letter in the mail, your student will need to attend summer school. Please have your student turn in the summer school form as soon as possible to Mr. Davidson or Mrs. McArdle.
On May 22nd we will host our annual end of the year awards ceremony for 7th-11th-grade students. The middle school ceremony will be from 9:32 a.m. to 10:46 a.m. The high school ceremony will be from 8:14 a.m. to 9:28 a.m. Both ceremonies will be hosted in the gymnasium. We appreciate your attendance!
The MAP and EOC testing have been going extremely well. We will be excited to get the scores back next year to see our students progress on the MAP and we are hoping that we get the students scores back on the EOC over the course of the next few weeks. Our students and teachers did an excellent in preparation for this test. MAP and EOC testing end May 8th.
On May 6th we will be hosting our annual 6th-grade transition to the middle school day. The incoming 7th graders will be coming over to NBHS from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. to eat lunch, to learn about being a middle schooler (from some of the current middle school students), to hear expectations, and to tour the building. We are extremely excited to have them in the building and to get to know them.
