The Vogel Counselors are Mrs. Johnson - 6th grade and Mrs. Rekart - 5th grade. Our counseling team is available for any student and family resources or needs. We will have more resources and important information about upcoming dates in future newsletters. We look forward to meeting you all next week at the 5th grade and 6th grade Parent Information Night.
School T-shirt Orders
The directions to create a School Cash Online account are at the link below.
- All changes of transportation should be sent to your child's teachers in the form of a handwritten note or an email.
- Please do not send a note asking for your child to ride another bus. We don't have the authority to make those changes. You will need to get in touch with the transportation department and ask for permission.
- Unless you have an emergency, no transportation changes will be made after 3:30.
- If you are picking your child up early from school, please bring your state ID with you.
- Students can not be called out of class early to the front office to wait for you to arrive. They miss valuable instructional time.
First Lego League and Robotics
All SMS messages received from the Conroe ISD District Office and your child's campus will begin with "Conroe ISD:" and come from the subscribe code 67587. If you have not yet opted-in to receive SMS messages, you can do so at any time throughout the school year by texting "Y" to 67587.
Hats Off to Reading
Beginning at 5:30 p.m., the annual Hats Off to Reading Festival will take place to celebrate Conroe ISD’s Read for a Better Life Initiative. Children will participate in super hero themed activities and leave with a special book. Following the festival at 7:30, the Houston Symphony will perform A Symphony of Heroes in honor of the real superheroes we meet every day.
Read for a Better Life Day will be Wednesday, September 18.

Welcome back Texans! We hope you are as eager to be here as we are. We have a wonderful P.T.O. board ready to serve our school. We have been busy planning some great events for you. Mark your calendars for these important dates.....
Our Fall fundraiser this year will be World's Finest Chocolate! The kickoff date is September 16th. Our goal is to have another record setting fundraising year! Please be on the look out for details.
Break out your NEON colors and join us for our first Spirit Night at Sk8 Town on September 17th. Our GLOW themed party wouldn't be complete without glow sticks and necklaces for all students who attend! Come help us celebrate the start of a great school year.
Family Movie Night:
Our first family function this school year will be a free family event on September 27th. What could be more fun that a relaxing evening watching a movie with your children.....hmmm, maybe a movie and SNACKS! Don't worry. We have you covered; concessions will be available for purchase. Parents/Guardians must attend with student. This is not a drop off event.
