Title I
We are excited to inform you that GW is now a Title I school. This federal program allows for extra resources to be available to support our scholars academic achievement. Your scholar
will receive a flier outlining the responsibilities of the school, family, and scholar as it relates to Title I.
The goal of our Title I program is to improve teaching and learning, improve high school graduation rates, provide interventions for attendance, behavior, and increase family engagement in school processes. We are asking for your support in these efforts by attending our parent/family engagement meetings. These meetings will take place in the GW Auditorium. 2nd Annual River City Classic
The month of September is finally here and we know what time it is!!! The George Washington Marching Eagles will be hosting The River City Classic. Their 2nd annual band competition here at George Washington High School. This year's competition will be held on September 30th, 2023 at the J.T. Christopher Stadium. Come out and watch these amazing bands and our Awards Winning Marching Eagles!!!
