The Liability Release Agreement is required for all events.

The Photograph, Testimonial, & Interview Release is encouraged but optional.

Join Georgia Cyber Academy for field games with your teachers, fun in nature, scavenger hunts, games, dancing, fun with our partners and GCA friends!

Open to all grade levels. We will be meeting for fun, games, music, crafts, bounce houses. Join us for our back to school kick off! We will have tables for you to visit colleges and universities for information about their schools, a table to find out more about events with Special Olympics and much more! Over 200 staff members will be there from all three schools Elementary, Middle and High School to have fun with you!

​Event Cost: There will be a fee for parking ($15) that you will pay at the gate. There is NO cost for the activities hosted in the area for GCA.

Event Activities: We will have bounce houses, a DJ, a raffle for a chance to shoot basketball against our mascot Champ!, making pottery, making crafts, field games, a scavenger hunt, time with your teachers and more! Wear your favorite red t-shirt, or a GCA shirt you can purchase at www.gcaptso.org and enjoy some family-friendly music, field games, building and more. We will have booths with each department of our school staffed there to answer questions and take care of your needs including ALP, Special Services, Counseling, technical help and more. Game X will be there with a raffle wheel and prizes. As a reminder park attractions are not open during the week.

Be sure to pack a lunch, drinks, picnic supplies, and dress for the outdoors. There are no food vendors in the area of the park.

Every child must have a permission slip to participate, even if they are not a student at GCA. Students must have an adult chaperone attending the outing with them.

Meeting Point: Fireside Pavillion (please ask for a map and directions at the gate upon entry).
To get to Fireside:

  • Enter through the Main Gate off of Hwy 78
  • Continue straight on Jefferson Davis Drive
  • Veer right at the fork in the road to continue onto Robert E Lee Blvd
  • Make the first immediate right onto Old Hugh Howell Rd.
  • Follow the GCA signs to the pavilion which will be on the right
  • Parking is near the entrance to the pavilion.

Notes: Be sure to dress for the outdoors, pack sunscreen, park supplies, sporting equipment, and lots of water. Be sure to bring a picnic lunch! Feel free to bring family and friends. Please remember for the safety of the children there are no pets allowed at the outing.

Open to all grade levels. ​Come out and meet at Ridge Ferry Park Playground for a social outing where students can picnic together, play on the playground, and walk together on the natural and paved trails.

Admission is free. Bring your own picnic lunch. Seating and tables are limited, and participants can bring outdoor folding chairs to the event.

*Fun park is free for GCA families. Feed for petting zoo and concessions are extra charge if you wish to purchase. Hayride is offered at a small fee.

Meeting point: Party Barn behind the red ticket booth. Please tell the attendant at red ticket booth you are with GCA to receive your wristband. Sign in sheets will be at the party barn behind the booth.
