International Space Station

The ISS was first directed to be built by president Ronald Reagan. The first part of the ISS was a Russian proton Rocket named Zarya. They did this to research microgravity and observe Earth.
On December 4th, 1998 the second segment "Unity" was added. Unity was the first U.S made segment of the I.S.S. It made more discoveries on microgravity and medicine.
On the second of November 2000 the first crew travels on orbit to live on the I.S.S. They did this
On the second of November, 2010, The ten year anniversary of the I.S.S being occupied by humans is celebrated.
