Principal's Newsletter

May 2022

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to the month of May which means that the school year is coming to an end. There are only 17 instructional days left of the 2021-2022 school year. This year went by so quickly. Team Success will say Good-Bye to its second graduation class, the class of 2022. The school is proud of each and every student's accomplishments. Congratulations to the class of 2022!

Furthermore, our school just completed the final step of the accreditation process with COGNIA, the Engagement Review, which was a three day in-depth site review. Please see details below.

Please read this newsletter in its entirety as it contains important dates and information.

Cognia Update: Accreditation Engagement Review Completed

As of the date of this newsletter, Team Success has not yet been accredited by a national or regional accrediting organization. The school just completed the accreditation process with COGNIA on April 18-20, 2022. We anticipate that Cognia will send their final report within the next 30-60 days. Team Success is confident that it will get the distinction of being an accredited school.

Graduation from a non-accredited high school may impact college admissions, financial aid availability and scholarships, military enlistment, and employment opportunities. However, Team Success students in the class of 2021 and 2022 have received financial aid, scholarships, and grants in a combined amount of over $175,000.

Should you have any questions on how this may affect your child, please contact our guidance counselor at (941)714-7260 or via email: rhowe3@teamsuccessschools.com.

Arriving late to school may mean that the student is not allowed to take the FSA and may be required to take the test on a make-up date.
