Having a baby is a serious thing. It is something that shouldn't be a joking matter. Not all couples having a baby are prepared. Their are things to expect and know, myths and facts about pregnancy. It is not all peaches and cream; it is scary, some mothers will feel discomfort but some will not, so don't be alarm if your spouse or you yourself (expecting mothers) are feeling different.
First Trimester "OH SHIT"
-Morning sickness
-Fatigue
-Baby's heart to beat
-Baby's brain starts to form
-Fetus' size of a plum
-Moodiness
Second Trimester "Boy? Girl?"
-The baby's bones start to harden
-You figure out if the baby is a boy or a girl (that is if you choose to know)
-Start to feel the baby kick
-Baby's hearings starts to fully develop
-Common discomforts during the next few months
Third Trimester "Almost Out"
-Baby's brain and lungs are almost fully formed
-Contractions
Things that can help:
-Visit a doctor
- Look into or ask your doctor about vitamins.
-Eat right: Have a healthy diet. What goes in you goes in your baby too.
-Exercise
-Stay Active: It helps with postpartum depression periods and helps ease birthing process.
- Find classes that are aimed for pregnant people.
-Have a support system.
-DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL OR SMOKE
Myths:
-The baby's sex is determined by the position of your baby bump
-If you have STD, your baby will too.
-Your baby weigh comes off during delivery.
-You're eating for two.
-Every women can breast feed.
