SUBSTITUTE TIP OF THE MONTH
Serving Students with Special Needs: As we begin the second semester it’s always nice to revisit curriculum strategies and classroom management for students who are a part of our special populations.
As the school year progresses we find more substitutes in longer multi day assignments needing new ideas or a reminder of practices to utilize. I have attached a link which has free printable materials, articles, and ideas that can not only work for our special needs students but can also be adapted to our struggling learners. A New Look at Differentiation: Think derivatives mean "slopes"? Not anymore... In this module, we will reconsider what a derivative is and means in terms of the asymptotic (or big-O) notation.
