Ending the Year Strong: Study Skills and More

As we prepare for the last months of this school year, please remember to keep the focus on learning. It's hard to stay connected with distance learning, but some students are thriving. The trick to success seems to be in found in strong study skills: organization, prioritizing, completing work, and focus, and of course, connection. Here are some tips to support students through remote learning. Please review these Steps for Success. Please reach out to your counselor for support if grades are a concern. We offer Study Skills Group support and individual zoom appointments to help students brainstorm solutions.

In-School Learning is Available

Also, please remember we are open and students tend to do better when in school. Please contact your counselor to arrange physical back-to-school attendance when you are ready!

Comfort Dogs are Returning!

We are so happy to announce Martha and Abner, Comfort Dogs, are returning to Bowie for their monthly visits. These extremely well-trained golden retrievers are used in national crisis emergencies and we have the good fortune to welcome them on our campus just to spend some doggie time with our students. We haven't seen them in a year and are beyond delighted to have them return again!
