Math Homework
Starting this week I would like to challenge each of my math learners to complete at least 1 Moby Max math lesson each week. 3rd graders will be given time in class throughout the week to work toward this goal but it may also require them to find additional time at home to spend on Moby.
In addition to this new challenge, math fact fluency should continue to be a high priority.
Literacy
This past week we continued to explore the characters in our stories. Ask your child to tell you more about the characters they are reading about. Have fun comparing and contrasting the characters from their stories with people you know in real life.
READ 20
Thank you to Mr. DeRuyter for being our first Read 20 guest reader! If you or someone you know is interested in sharing their love of reading with us on an upcoming Read 20 day please let Mrs. Crabb know.
Reading with fluency and expression is something we continue to work on as 3rd Grade readers. Have fun modeling expressive reading to your child and encourage them to read aloud to the family to practice their fluency and expression.
