Leadership Notes:
Dear Cimarron Family,
We hope you all are gearing up for a safe and relaxing winter break. We are so thankful for having the opportunity to grow and learn with your students this semester as we are on an “Epic Journey”! The growth of our students is evident each day at Cimarron.
This semester has been busy, and we have been able to accomplish many of our goals, while providing opportunities for students to grow and learn through authentic experiences. Highlights from this semester include our Veterans’ Day Celebration, performing arts concerts and plays, eighth grade career expo. and countless successful athletic endeavors! We are looking forward to continuing this journey in 2017!
Thank you for all of the community support we have received through volunteering, attending school events such as plays and athletics, donations for classrooms this semester. This month we are especially grateful for the success of our third annual Festival of Trees event. Thank you to all of the people who volunteered to make this event possible! Over 500 people attend the event!
January 3rd marks the beginning of second semester. Students’ schedules will flip at this time. Copies of new schedules will be available to students when they arrive at school on this day.
We wish you a safe and restful holiday season.

To assist in keeping Cimarron Middle School a safe place for all, we ask that all students enter the school at the main entrance/front door each day upon arrival at school. Please DO NOT enter the building in the back by mobiles. Thank you for your attention to this important safety matter.
Parents, please pick up your students using the pick up lane in front of the school and not on Canterberry. An additional safety reminder for all students walking to and from school. Students are to cross the street at crosswalks with crossing guards. Please do not cross at the four way stop at the entrance of Cimarron. Thank you.
