STUDENT ACTIVITIES!

MR. & MRS. MARINER- APRIL 4th at 6pm TONIGHT!

Mr. & Mrs. Mariner is BACK!! We will be hosting this competition on April 4th at 6pm in the auditorium . Come see your favorite seniors battle it out for the crown!


SPRING BONFIRE- APRIL 12TH at 7pm - RE-SCHEDULED

We will be holding a FREE bonfire to kick off Spring Sports on TUESDAY, APRIL 12TH at 7pm behind the away side bleachers. There will be food and pep rally fun! Pie your favorite senior and come watch this year's lip dub! ALL ARE WELCOME!!

Congratulations to our April Students of the Month, Courtney McCann and Jake Nagle!


Courtney has served as the Captain of our varsity swim team and was named Outstanding Swimmer for the 2021-22 season. She is active in TEAM and Student Council. Outside of school, Courtney is involved with the Ocean County YMCA as a lifeguard supervisor and swim instructor. She is proud that although diagnosed with Dyslexia at an early age, she has achieved High Honor Roll during every quarter of her high school career. Courtney will be attending the University of Connecticut in the Honors program, studying Biology with a minor in Environmental Studies.


Jake has served as the Captain of our varsity soccer and volleyball teams and has been inducted into National Honor Society. This past season, he received All County accolades and the Dave Mitchell Award. He is proud to be a part of our 3 time South Jersey Group 4 Championship soccer team. He is also active in The Class of 2022, Captain's Crew, TEAM, and Sent with a Smile. Jake volunteers his time at both TOPS Soccer and with the Manchester Soccer Club. He has been awarded Academic Letters each year of his high school career. He will be continuing his soccer career and majoring in Exercise Science at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

2022 Ocean County Teen Arts

Congratulations to senior Theatre and Dance Academy member Hanna Aromando on being selected to attend the NJ State Teen Arts Festival for her film Acceptable.


Band, Chorus, and Theatre Trip to Disney

Last week, 123 members of our band, chorus, and theatre programs attended a trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. During this time they attended educational workshops and participated in performance opportunities. Junior Chorus and Theatre member Angelina Amato won Outstanding Vocal Soloist for Festival Disney.


Girl's Track

Congratulations to our girls track team for opening their season with a dominating win at the rocket relays. This was a total team effort in which the girls scored in every event on the track. Including 4 first place finishes in the long jump, triple jump, high jump and shuttle hurdles. Great way to start the season!


Boy's Lacrosse

Congratulations to the Boys Lacrosse team for their come from behind win over Brick Township, 6-5 in overtime. Nick Walano had 4 goals, Evan Singer made 15 saves, and Tim Beahm had 2 assists. Patrick Bennett and Junior Matthews also had clutch goals, and there was a great team defensive effort. Congrats to the JV team as well for their first win of the season.

STUDENT PARKING

All Student Drivers must have a valid parking sticker in order to park on campus. Students without stickers will not be permitted to leave for lunch. As a reminder, only Seniors are permitted to leave the School Property for Lunch.

SPRING COLLEGE FAIR - THIS WEDNESDAY!!

Planning for your future? Come to the college fair on Wednesday evening at High School East and meet with representatives from more than 120 different institutions, including technical schools, OCC, and the military. ATTENTION JUNIORS! JUNIOR PROM!!

The Class of 2023 is excited to host the Junior Prom at the RWJ Barnabas Health Arena on May 21, 2022 from 6-10 PM. This “Night in Paris” will be a formal evening filled with dinner and dancing - a much needed celebration! Prom bids cost $50 per person and will be on sale from April 4- 13th. They can be picked up from Mrs. Frankoski (Burgess) in B25, Ms. Silva in the gym, or the main office. All late bids will be subjected to a $5 charge per person.
