Week at a Glance
Math- We just finished up Unit 6 this week. Next week we will be doing an awesome computer science module which will be integrated with math. The math focus will be on multiples and patterns.
Science- We have started studying meal worms this week and will continue for the remainder of the school year. Students will be able to to see how they change throughout their life cycle, and we will conduct some experiments with them as well. We also visited Mr. Bush's classroom (4th grade teacher) on Thursday to learn about animal adaptations.
Social Studies- This week the New Albany Historical Society came to teach us about New Albany in the past. We were able to see some really cool things and learned that New Albany has changed a lot!
Writing- We are currently writing a classroom ABC book. We came up with a word for each letter of the alphabet that represents our classroom and each student will design a page.
