The Annual Shoot for the Stars Event this year was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who participated in the 3-on-3 tournament. Living for Zachary performed close to 90 FREE heart screenings last Saturday and what better way to end the event, but with a live concert featuring George Dunham and the Bird Dogs at The Bartonville Store.

This event is held annually in memory of Alex Betzhold and to bring awareness to underlying heart problems in youth. The main goal is to provide FREE heart screenings to the youth in Argyle ISD. The dollar drive that kicked off last week will be extended through Friday. Please send your student to school with $1 to donate.

The donation boxes are in the front of each campus. The students at AHS can turn their donations into their 5th period teachers. All donations will go to the Alex Betzhold Memorial Fund. *Check out the special article below written by Sophie Betzhold, Alex's sister and a graduate of Argyle ISD.
