The Skipper Scoop
Week of August 28th, 2018
I hope everyone had a restful weekend after that great Skipper win and amazing band performance on Friday night.
Last week was so great! It was wonderful to see so many new faces and some that I have known for my entire career in Fairport. The staff here at Harding amazes me as well. The adults that walk in this building every day makes Harding a place worthy of all kids.
I know online registration was a struggle for some of our families last week. The good news is that in future years, registration will be very easy and the amount of paper the district uses will decrease greatly. Thanks for your patience throughout the process.
The students in this building have impressed me so far this year. I have repeatedly noticed not just shiny new shoes, but a lot of new attitudes as well. Kids are emerging into leadership positions on a daily basis and the vibe here at Harding is contagious.
I hope everyone has a great week ahead...
Dunk Tank Anyone?!
Community Days is a long held tradition in Fairport Harbor that always promises good conversation and lots of laughs. This year will be no different with the addition of the dunk tank! Come dunk your "favorite" staff member.
Friday Night Lights 8-31
The Skippers take on Brooklyn this week at Grieg Field for it's home opener. It is also Fairport Youth Athletics night. The FHS band is going to have an awesome halftime show as well. Game time @7pm.
