KMS Librarian DeMoss an Exemplar of Collaboration

When librarian Jennifer DeMoss arrived at the C.E. King Middle School campus, staff could tell that the winds of change had arrived. Little did they know what positive directions these winds would take them!

Mrs. DeMoss has been an absolute blessing to faculty and students of KMS, continually offering to collaborate on projects and assignments with classes from all content areas, and taking the lead in demonstrating the use of newly available technologies. The KMS 8th Grade Social Studies Department is super-excited to be the first group to collaborate with Mrs. DeMoss on a project about the first five presidents of the United States!

With all of the new demands being placed upon librarians, Mrs. DeMoss has been impressive in her success in not only laying the foundation for an effective and enjoyable library program at KMS, but doing it with a generous amount of aplomb, finesse, and savvy. She is proving to be not only a tough cookie, but an invaluable colleague!
