MESSAGE FROM DR. CHURCH

Dear Totem Falls Families,

We are looking forward to sharing your child’s progress next week. I hope you have all been able to sign up for a Zoom conference time with your child's teacher. It is a great time to connect, hear about your child’s school experience, and to discuss ways to support their growth this year. As expected, there many be a few things to work on. There will be some skills we will need to support more vigorously this year, so please don’t be too surprised should there be something needing a bit more work. We anticipated this and are working on ways to help students with concepts they don’t understand.

Book fair is also happening and there is a time frame after school for students to be able to come back on campus to shop (see below for those details). I hope you are looking forward to celebrating your child(ren)’s success!

EXTRA CLOTHES?

Has your child grown out of their elastic waisted pants? The health room could use extra elastic waisted pants. These come in handy with the rainy recesses we are having. Thank you.

*CHANGE IN DATE* PICTURE MAKE-UP DAY, 11/15

This is for anyone who missed picture day or wants a re-take done. You can place your order online HERE. Search for Totem Falls Elementary. If you are doing a re-take just have your student bring the pictures back to school on re-take day and turn those in to the photographer and they will repeat your order you paid for in September.

SHOULD MY CHILD STAY HOME?

Please remember to keep your student home if they have any symptoms (even mild) of illness. If your student has any symptoms of COVID-19 or has been in close contact with anyone with COVID-19 please let our attendance staff know when excusing your student. Testing is encouraged for anyone with symptoms. Please see the links below for further information, our building nurse, Mary Mellis, at 360-563-4796 or email is happy to answer any questions as well.
