Family Focus

This year we are taking more of a family focused approach to homework. We believe that spending quality family time is vital in the success of your student. We will provide family friendly, engaging homework activities and assignments. We would love if you would send us pictures of these activities and share them with us.

This weeks Family focus: Make sure your child knows all of the following:

  • first, middle, and last name
  • birthday month, day, and year
  • student ID number (same as lunch number)

Ms. Barrientez' Wedding!

What a wonderful week it is! This Saturday, Ms. Barrientez will marrying the man she said yes to almost 18 months ago. Although no one wants to plan a wedding during a world pandemic, nothing will stand in the way of these two joining together before God and committing their lives together. We are celebrating the bride-to-be big this week before she become Mrs. Hernandez.

If you would like to celebrate with us, feel free to send an email, card, or gift to Ms. Barrientez this week. She is registered at Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Target.

ELAR: We will learn how to retell and paraphrase stories. We will also look at conjunctions and how to use them in our writing.

Math: We will compose, decompose, classify, and sort 3D solids based on their attributes (faces, edges, and vertices).
