Summerwind STEM Academy Recognizes Stellar Readers with Junior Principal Duties
Two students at Summerwind STEM Academy earned the top prize for read month and became "Junior Principal" for a morning. Their duties included welcoming students to school at morning drop off, making the morning announcements, reading to the kindergarten classes, recess duty as well as writing and delivering positive messages to staff members. The students each wore their "Junior Principal" badges while they were officially on the job.

Technology Maintenance
The West Ada School District conducts monthly maintenance for District technology on the first Thursday of every month. The next scheduled maintenance and updates will be conducted tonight, Thursday June 3, 2021, beginning at 5:00 p.m. Minor interruptions to services can take place between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. There are several maintenance activities that students and parents should be aware of.
PowerSchool
PowerSchool will be offline between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. for the installation of operating system and application updates.
RapidIdentity - Web Applications Portal
Maintenance will also be conducted on RapidIdentity, the District’s Web Applications portal (pictured below) from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Maintenance on this system will also be conducted on Thursday June 10 from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Thursday’s scheduled maintenance may cause intermittent login issues to RapidIdentity - Web Application Portal, but should NOT impact any Microsoft services (email, Word, PowerPoint, Sway, Forms, or Teams).
