Athletic Events

Track and Field Tryouts

Track tryouts will take place February 17th, 18th, and 19th from 4:30-6:30 PM

  • Tryouts are open to all 7th and 8th grade students
  • You must have an up-to-date physical on file in the front office
  • Any questions please contact Coach Unger, Shroyer, or Warner.

Golf Tryouts

Golf tryouts will take place February 23rd & (24th – If needed) from 4:30-6:30 PM at Olde Atlanta Golf Club

  • Tryouts are open to all 7th and 8th grade students
  • You must have an up-to-date physical on file in the front office
  • Any questions please contact Coach Kulikowski , or Coach Fuller;
  • Virtual Golf informational meetings will take place on February 2nd & 4th click the link found on the RMS Golf Website to attend

High School Transition Updates

Lambert High School

Rising Freshman Registration will open on Wednesday, February 3rd at 4:00pm

Information about high school registration at Lambert can be found on the Rising Freshman website.

Families will have until Tuesday, February 9th to complete their course requests for the 2021-2022 school year.

Alliance Academy for Innovation

Lottery results can be found here.

Students from Riverwatch who will attend Alliance Academy will join an Alliance counselor for a virtual chat during Flex Time on February 4. The link will also be posted in the itslearning student information course for our virtual students who plan to attend Alliance next year.

School Events and Information

Panthers Pay if Forward

This year RMS will be supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) by participating in the Hero Squad program. Our Hero this year is Faith Johnson, a senior at Lambert High School. Faith was a student at RMS and was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on November 11th, 2020. Every hero needs a squad! Faith is our hero and we are her squad! Please donate to the (LLS) at this link

The program will run from February 4th through March 4th. The Riverwatch/Lambert community can donate online at the link provided above or by sending in donations using the handout students were given during flex time on Thursday, February 4th. The date to bring in donations will be February 19th and March 4th. Our school goal is $7,500.00. This is an easily achievable goal, with your help. Teachers, staff, students, parents, and families are all encourage to click the link above and give what you can. If everyone does a little, we can help Faith and her family battle this terrible disease.

Upcoming Experience for 7th Grade Students

Next month 7th grade students will have the opportunity to visit Junior Achievement's Finance Park located next to Alliance Academy. This is a culminating activity for a unit in their Social Studies classes. Students will ride a bus and visit in groups on either March 18th, 19th, 22nd, or 23rd. This opportunity is available for in-person and virtual students. CLICK HERE for an informational video about the experience. Your child's Social Studies teacher will be sending more information about their specific date and a permission slip the week of February 16th.

Lambert High School Volunteer Tutoring

The Lambert HS Key Club has organized volunteer high school students who wish to tutor current RMS students. This could be extremely helpful during the COVID pandemic. Tutoring will help students who are academically falling behind, especially those at home with limited resources. This will also be an exciting way for middle school students to learn from and gain mentors through connections made with local LHS students!

2020-2021 RMS Yearbook

Hurry and get your yearbook before they're sold out! Thank you to all of you who have already purchased a yearbook! If you haven't yet ordered a yearbook, the deadline is this Friday at midnight. To guarantee that your child receives a yearbook in memory of this unusual year, click here to process your order. We will place our order next week. Teacher Appreciation Week - February 22 - 26th.

Help us spoil and show our appreciation to all our teachers and staff here at RMS. We are requesting donations so that daily we can do a little something. We are also accepting any sponsors gifts, gift cards, etc. to raffle for prizes to add some fun to the week.
