Student Outcomes and System Supports
This framework describes the skills, knowledge, expertise, and the attitudes students must master for success in work and life; it is a blend of content knowledge, specific skills, expertise, and literacies.
The pools represent support systems that need to be in place in order for the student outcomes to occur.
An innovative support system must be created to help students master the multi-dimensional abilities that will be required of them. The partnership has identified 5 critical support systems to ensure student mastery of 21st century skills.
In some ways, the MO Learning Standards are the science of learning (content), and the P21 skills are the art of learning (design). Working together, they can create deeper learning opportunities and "real world" educational experiences. ~Susan Maynor
