Mustang Monday Message

Mustang Family,

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend.

We would like to remind you, and gently beg:), to register your students for next school year as soon as possible. If you have new neighbors, help our school by encouraging them to register. Our school is growing, and the sooner we know our enrollment numbers, the better teachers we will be able to hire if needed. Here is a link to register (https://www.nebo.edu/registration).

We have several important events upon us:

Track Meet Dates at MAPLE MOUNTAIN HIGH SCHOOL: Track meets are typically held at Springville High School, but their track is being rebuilt. Maple Mountain High School was kind to permit us to use their track for our meets. This will require a little later start time as all schools will need to use buses. Track Meet Dates: 4th Grade – Wednesday, April 26th (Rain out make-up day April 27th), 3rd Grade – Friday, May 5th (Rain our make-up day May 12th). Please make sure your students have good shoes and water bottles, thank you!
End-of-Year Testing: End-of-year testing has, or will, begin soon. We have found that students typically do much better with their testing when they test with their class. Teachers should be sending a scheduled home with their testing times so that you know when those dates will be. Please encourage your students to do their best on these assessments, as these scores are utilized by our staff to better understand the impact of our teaching.
Register for the 2023-2024 School Year: If you are planning on attending school in Nebo School District next year, please be sure to register asap.
Full-Day Kindergarten: As you may have heard, the state allocated funds for us to hold full-day kindergarten. The district is working hard to figure out how many full-time kindergarten classes we will need. Please help us spread the word to your neighbors, who are not on this email list, to get registered and to select their full-time or half-day preference. If you have questions about the option of full-time kindergarten, don't hesitate to call me!
End of Term 4 Party: At the end of term 4 we are looking to celebrate great behavior by taking any student with less than 3 tickets to the Springville Rec Center's Pool.

Espero que todos hayan tenido un fantástico fin de semana.

Nos gustaría recordarles, y rogamos gentilmente :), que registren a sus estudiantes para el próximo año escolar lo antes posible. Si tiene nuevos vecinos, ayude a nuestra escuela animándolos a registrarse. Nuestra escuela está creciendo, y cuanto antes sepamos nuestros números de inscripción, mejores maestros podremos contratar si es necesario. Tenemos varios eventos importantes sobre nosotros:

Fechas de competencias de atletismo en la ESCUELA SECUNDARIA MAPLE MOUNTAIN: Las competencias de atletismo generalmente se llevan a cabo en la Escuela Secundaria de Springville, pero su pista se está reconstruyendo. Maple Mountain High School tuvo la amabilidad de permitirnos usar su pista para nuestros encuentros. Regístrese para el año escolar 2023-2024: si planea asistir a la escuela en el distrito escolar de Nebo el próximo año, asegúrese de registrarse lo antes possible.
Kindergarten de día completo: Como habrá escuchado, el estado asignó fondos para que celebremos kindergarten de día completo. El distrito está trabajando arduamente para determinar cuántas clases de kindergarten de tiempo completo necesitaremos. Ayúdenos a correr la voz entre sus vecinos, que no están en esta lista de correo electrónico, para que se registren y seleccionen su preferencia de tiempo completo o de medio día. Si tiene preguntas sobre la opción de un jardín de infantes de tiempo completo, ¡no dude en llamarme!
Fiesta de fin del 4.° período: Al final del 4.° período buscamos celebrar el buen comportamiento llevando a cualquier estudiante con menos de 3 boletos a la piscina del Springville Rec Center.
