This Week At Tustin High...

What an amazing first week at Tustin High School!

Our admin team had the pleasure to visit every classroom this week. In the classroom, teachers and students are setting the stage for a successful academic year. Together, we are building a Tiller Team that is Respectful, Engaged, and Determined - Go Big RED!

This week we also began our athletic competitions with Volleyball and Football. The spirit and enthusiasm of Tiller fans at the volleyball game were amazing to experience. Our ASB students worked hard to welcome back every Tiller at our first assembly where we all enjoyed performances from our Tiller Band, Cheer, and Dance Teams. We are off to a great start, the Tiller spirit is strong - way to go Tiller Team!

This week I would like to extend a personal invitation to our Tiller families to join me for a brief Meet & Greet before our first ELAC and Title 1 Parent Meetings. We will meet in the THS Library at 5:45 PM. I hope to see many Tiller parents and guardians there as we launch a new school year. YOU are a huge part of our Tiller Team and your input is extremely valuable to all of us at Tustin High.

We have lots of activities going on this week. Check out the calendar below and get out there and support our teams! Our first full week culminates this Friday at our annual rivalry game vs. Foothill. This year we are the visiting team and will be on the visitor's side, but I know we will all turn up, support our team, and rock our Tiller Pride! Check out our new t-shirts sold in the student store for $10. Pride...team....support...family...let's get out there and show what it means to be a Tiller!

Go Tillers!

  • Assist with the development of the school wide needs assessment

  • Assist with the school’s efforts to make parents aware of the importance of regular school attendance

  • Elect a representative to the District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)

ELAC meetings for the 23-24 school year will be held in the Tiller Community Center (Room 805) on the following dates and times:

  • September 19 @ 6 pm

  • April 10 @ 6 pm

Wednesday Late Start Schedule

This week is our first late start Wednesday. Please see the schedule image and make arrangements for on-time arrival.

After School Pick-Up

We are asking our parents and family members to not block or park and wait in both the entrance to the Cottages Apartments located on El Camino Real and at the Adventures in Learning Preschool located at the corner of Orange Ave and El Camino Real when picking up your students after school. The residents cannot enter or exit their complex when cars are blocking it. At no time is parking in or blocking neighboring driveways or neighboring parking spaces allowed.

Starting next week, the first two aisles of the parking lot will be blocked off after school. In order to help relieve the long line of cars that wait on El Camino Real all cars will be re-routed further into the parking lot to the bus lanes where you may pick up your student(s).
Thank you for being considerate of our neighbors.
