GREAT GATHERINGS
Great Gatherings are get-togethers hosted by Symmes families and friends outside of the normal school routine. You can host or attend for the fun experience and help raise money for our school. They may be held at night, during the day or on weekends. Some may be just for moms or dads, for couples only, or grade or gender specific. The possibilities are endless!
All GG signups are now posted in the Symmes PTO Great Gatherings SignUp Genius group. Each event has its own tab on the site that includes the event details, cost and contact information. Cost will vary with the type of experience created by each gathering, but our goal is to have something for everyone! Payment must be submitted to reserve your spot. Please double check your family calendars before submitting payment!

We need more hosts! Join your friends or neighbors and host an event together! Want to host but need an idea? We can help with that too. Please email us at symmesptogreatgatherings@outlook.com with any questions!
SCHOOL WIDE FUNDRAISER FOR MATTHEW 25 MINISTRIES
Dear Parents,
As many of you may know, the 2nd grade classes attended a field trip to Matthew 25: Ministries a few weeks ago. During this time, students were able to see the facility and learn all about helping others in our community and beyond, thus making real world connections to being a PeaceBuilder. As a conclusion to our time and experience at M25M, the 2nd grade team and students are holding a school-wide food drive to donate back to M25M that will stay local to our Cincinnati community. Our goal is for each student to bring in 2 items for our food drive with a school-wide goal of 1,000 items to donate. The collection will start Monday, November 13 and end on Friday, November 17. Items that would be greatly appreciated include:
PULL TOP canned vegetables, fruits, etc.
Ready to eat dry goods such as nuts, peanut butter, dried fruits, granola, and trail mixes
Beef jerkies
Ready to eat snacks
Bottled water
Thank you for all of your help and support!
