The Carleton Chronicle
A weekly update from your principal, Mr. Kausch.
Greetings from Carleton!
On behalf of our entire staff, we wish you a safe, relaxing, and festive holiday season. I hope 2017 brings all that you hope and dream for. We are thankful for such a supportive and positive learning community and thank the many parents that have stopped in to wish us a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Your kindness does not go unnoticed.
Please remember that school resumes on January 4, 2017.
Student Council is gearing up for our Pep Assembly on Tuesday morning. Students will enjoy a sing along as lead by our band students and Mrs. Lantto. We will also introduce our sports teams and clubs including football, volleyball, boys basketball, ecology club, yearbook club and student council members.
We will also award various prizes to those that participated in the Carleton Shuffle. The GoPro winner will be announced, teacher prizes will be awarded, and Mr. Clark and I get to enjoy a silly string fight and pies in the face!!!!!
Students will also have an opportunity to participate in holiday games organized by our student council members and our 8th grade girl's volleyball team will challenge our staff to a "friendly" game of volleyball. I can't guarantee there won't be any banter back and forth. We've got some serious players on both sides of the net!!!!
It should be a fun time. I really appreciate the leadership of Mrs. Juronoc, Mrs. Lane and our student council members.
We serve breakfast every morning at 7:15am.
Please continue to pull as far forward as possible to drop off students in the morning as this provides the safest outcome for our parking lot.
School resumes with a full day of instruction on January 4, 2017.
