What did the survey's say?
- Every Single Teacher has been exceptional this year! (my favorite comment!)
- Overwhelmingly, the parents that came to Spring Conferences attended both fall and Spring
- Most parents spoke with 5-6 teachers, though it was interesting to see that some stopped in to speak with only one or two teachers
- Unavailable teachers (coaching, etc) are disappointing to parents
- They want the coffee bar back
- They would love cookies too!
- Some love the teachers in one location and others want it in classrooms.
- Time limits on how long parents and teachers can talk. Actually, this came up a lot. We do have a 10 minute limit that parents are aware of, but we don't ring a bell or enforce it. I wonder what we could do next time around.
The biggest take away is that most of our parents were happy with how we run conferences. They went smoothly for them and they felt like the teachers knew their child extremely well. Thanks for all the work that goes into making this night a success.
