Projector & Display Troubleshooting
Ever wonder why when connecting to a projector, you see it display on your laptop but not the projector? Or, magically, the laptop turns black?
Well, let's look at some quick tips to get you connected to the projector how you want every time!
Keyboard Shortcuts
When the image is not displaying properly, chances are the configuration of "duplicate" changed. You have 2 options to get to the projector menu.
1. fn+f4 (Function F4) OR 2. Windows button +P (Windows Logo + letter P)
4 Kinds of Display Options
Computer Only
This shows your desktop only on your computer screen. If if connected to the projector, you will not see anything.

Duplicate
This shows your desktop on both your computer screen and a projector. This is the display option you will most frequently use with your projector.

Extended
This extends your desktop from your computer screen to a projector. You see part of the computer screen on your laptop and the rest on the projector. It is split between the two rather than copy it. For example, you may show a video that you see on your laptop but on the projector you see the desktop.

Projector Only
This shows your desktop only on a projector. Your computer screen will be black while the projector is displaying everything.
