Panthers Beat Truman

The Panthers played Truman Tuesday night. Winning they move to 5 straight wins. Truman came out strong in the early going scoring 17 points in the first quarter. Trailing at halftime 25-20, the Panthers regrouped and had a much better second half. Their defense held Truman to just 17 points in the entire second half! The Panthers defense is statistically one of the best defenses of any team in the Metro. Holding teams to under 40% field goal percentage is a remarkable feat for any team to accomplish in a game. However, the Panthers do feat in nearly every game. There is a famous basketball slogan, "defense wins championships!" The Panthers hope their work continues to pay off.

Metro Sports Game of the Week

Metro Sports is Time Warner cable's local sports station. They broadcasted Friday night's basketball game versus Belton. The Panthers came away with a 38-27 win in front of a standing room only crowd. Check out Brittney Bross' clips below.

Visit From a Teacher

Ray-Pec's Science Teachers, Paul Carvan, was asked to visit with our Panthers. Bringing a message of working hard and cherishing each day was a special message for our Panthers. Coach Carvan is our golf coach but rarely misses a basketball game.
