Digital vs. Analog
By Emily Farrell
digitized signals are a more reliable way to encode and transmit information than analog signals.
What is Analog and Digital?
Digital- This is something expressed by 1's and 0's mostly signals or data.
Analog- Is just the transfer of your words not converted.
Digital
- Why- there are less errors in digital signals
- what- used for computing and digital electronics like some clocks
- who-most everyone uses this type of signal now because there are a lot more digital electronics like smart phones and laptops.
- when-digital clocks have been used since 1883 and are very reliable
- where-this signal is used all over the world.

Analog
- why-this is used because it costs less and is more mobile.
- what-this is used for audio and video transmissions
- who-most people don't use this signal anymore because of all of the digital devices
- when-analog clocks are not used as much anymore because of digital ones but are still liked by lots of people
- where- digital clocks and analog signals are used all over the world just as digital is
conclusion
In conclusion digital signals are better than analog because they are more reliable and are more clear talking on the phone and over the internet using digital signals.
