Introduction
Symbaloo provides the "one stop shopping" experience for students and instead of having to remember or type URLs, all they need to be able to do is get to the teacher Symbaloo and click.

Steps to follow to create your own webmix
Visit: http://www.edu.symbaloo.com and create your account.
Then click "get started with your webmix" to begin.
Step 2:
Symbaloo automatically adds webmixes.
You can easily delete tiles or webmixes you don't want.
Click on Delete webmix - to remove that webmix
Step 3:
To create your own webmix from scratch, click on the blue plus sign to the right of the webmix tabs. A blank webmix titled new Desktop! will appear.
Name your webmix by clicking on the Edit Webmix button, then Rename Webmix.
You can also change the wallpaper of your webmix by clicking on Edit Webmix then
Change Wallpaper.
Step 4:
Time to add tiles to your webmix. You have two options. You can add a Public Tile
or by Creating a Tile.
To Add a tile, click on one of the blank tiles in your webmix. You can type in the
search box to see if the tile already exsists. If so, click on the tile and it will appear in
your webmix.
If you choose Create Your Own Tile, a pop up box will appear where you can type the URL and customize your tile.
You can personalize and edit all tiles by right clicking on the them and selecting Edit.
Step 5:
Tiles are not limited to websites, they can also be links to embedded files, such as a
YouTube video.
To do this, find a YouTube video, click Share and copy the embed code.
Then in Symbaloo, click on an empty tile and select click here to create your own tile.
Select Embedded from the drop down menu, paste the embed code into the box
where you put the web address, and continue to create your own tile.
Step 6:
To share your webmix, click on Share (top right corner of your webmix), then you
can share it with students or other teachers.
