ST PAT'S CONNECTION VIDEO
Greeting St. Pat’s,
We get there's been change
And understand it’s a little strange
But we want you to know
We’ll still laugh, learn and grow
We’ll move and we’ll play
We’ll do our best every single day
Even though we’re now online
Together we’ll still SHINE
Dear students-you are doing a great job-keep up the effort! The entire staff are very proud of you all. God's blessings and stay safe.

Tips for Learning at Home:
Don’t stress about getting things perfect, it's important to remember it's progress over perfection. Help kids to feel safe and secure, and limit their anxiety. If you think your child will be happier playing in the garden or cooking with you, do that. While structure is important, don’t worry if you can’t stick to a ‘school day’ routine. Play is one of the best ways for kids to learn, so including play every day is a great learning tool (and can be fun for adults too). **see links for additional tips.
Continue to have open communication with your child's teacher, they are here to support you and your child through this unique time.
Keeping fit and exercising is the number one thing you and your family can do to keep worries at bay. A walk down your street, or a run around the yard, can make a huge difference to your family’s day. Remember to be safe and observe social distancing guidelines if you are near other people.

Unfortunately we can't run together as a team, but I would encourage all past team members and anyone else to join the virtual AMA Run Club. This is a great opportunity for families to go out together and be active! Heading out for a run before you start your school work for the day or after lunch would provide a great energy boost for everyone! These unique times have provided many of us with the flexibility to get outside and move during the day, let's take advantage of it!
By registering for the club participants will receive:
- Weekly emails (to parents) with activities and challenges you can complete at home
- A 10 week running/walking program that builds up to a 2 or 5 km fun run!
- Certificate of completion at the end of June and finisher prizes for every participant
- An entry to win 1 of many Garmin Activity Trackers drawn at the end of June
