The Fault in Our Stars

This book is about Hazel Grace Lancaster, who is a 16 year old with lung cancer. She goes to a support group where she meets the sexy Augustus Waters. They become good friends and hang out often. He lets her use his cancer wish to go to Amsterdam with him to meet Peter Van Houten. He wrote their favorite book and they want to find out what happens at the end. They start dating but there is shocking news. Augustus is dying from a disease with little time left. Before he dies, he writes a letter to Hazel which he gives to Van Houten to edit. He sends the letter to Hazel and the novel ends with the words, "I do, Augustus. I do."

Do you think Augustus is right about this?

" You put the killing thing right between your teeth, but you don't give it the power to do its killing" (Green 20).
