Technology, Technology, Technology?!?

Tech Tuesdays (2:40pm-3:00pm).

*Webpages, Google Drive, Mackin Via (online ebooks), Learn 360 updates, google uploads and documents, iPads and apps, and the list goes on and on. We love technology when it works and we understand it! Let's learn from one another!

This is what I have in mind for Tech Tuesdays for September, October, and November. Please let me know if you have other ideas. Thank you.

Tuesday, September 25 - rSchools - Making sure that your web page has the minimum requirement that the district is asking of each educator. I am re-offering this course as we had issues the first time through with creating our webpages. Other schools are having the same problems. If it is not repaired before we meet this date, I will reschedule.

Tuesday, October 2 - Chrome, Firefox and Safari - When should staff use each type of browser? I can also answer questions regarding accelerated reader as we are learning this together right now! If you received a CODE 77 machine, this is a mandatory session!

Tuesday, October 9 - Mackin Via - Online ebooks. Students can view these at school or at home. You can have your whole group reading the same book on the computer at the same time. Or, students can each choose their own to read. There are many levels to choose from. The books are linked under the Monroe Media Website. Click on the Media Center tab, Media Links, Resources and drag to Mackin Via Books.
